Born in Anchorage, Alaska and raised in Northern Minnesota, Riley developed a love of all things outdoors at an early age. He loves backpacking, kayaking, hunting, fishing, and camping and he's fortunate to share those same passions with his adventurous son, Easton. Raising his family in Esko, they can often be found exploring Jay Cooke State Park or spending an afternoon on the Munger Trail.

Riley is also active in the community, participating with Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, United Way, and the local Chamber of Commerce. He prides himself in giving back as well as being a part of the community.
